A 75 year-old-woman presented with chronic watery diarrhea. During colonoscopy, the colonic mucosa was seen to develop multiple tears in the right colon with bleeding during air insufflation. Biopsies were obtained from near the tears. A trichrome stain is included below (Image 5) with the patient's biopsy shown on the left.
