Week 22: Case 2

A 54-year-old asymptomatic man presented for routine colonic screening. Several small polyps were noted in the right and left colon and biopsies showed tubular adenomas. The sigmoid colon also showed diverticula and was erythematous on endoscopic examination. A biopsy from the sigmoid colon is shown below.
