Week 64: Case 6

The patient is a 50-year-old woman with a history of cigarette smoking. The patient had a variety of systemic complaints but underwent surgery because of a solitary pulmonary nodule in the right upper lobe. The lesion had doubled in size over a five month period. At the time of surgery, the lesion was 2 cm. in diameter.
