Week 451: Case 2

41 year old woman with intermittent bleeding and bouts of crampy abdominal pain and diarrhea. Colonoscopy detected a tight sigmoid stricture that was biopsied as negative. She underwent a Gastrografin enema, which demonstrated the sigmoid stricture, and extraluminal thickening or fullness that may have been related to strictures as a result of diverticulitis. She underwent a sigmoid resection.
