Week 381: Case 6

75 year old man with decreased exercise tolerance and fatigue. He had been in excellent health until about a month ago when he felt a little weak and a hematocrit was found to be 32. He rapidly became weaker and presented to the emergency department where he was found to have a Hct 11 of 11, WBC 2000/ul and platelets 113/ul. Marrow was inaspirable.
