A 51 year old male underwent an orchiectomy for a mixed malignant germ cell tumor composed of 95% teratoma with 5% seminoma. The tumor was organ confined with spermatic cord margin negative for tumor. At the time of his operation a large retroperitoneal mass was noted and a subsequent retroperitoneal lymph node dissection was performed.
