Presented by Peter Illei, M.D. and prepared by Kara Judson, M.D.This patient is a 53-year-old woman with a history of biopsy proven fibroadenoma of the left breast. Her most recent mammogram showed an increasing size and increasing lobulations with probable cystic change. No nipple discharge, changes in the skin overlying the breast, pain or nipple retraction were noted. Her mother died of breast cancer at age 58.
