Week 233: Case 5

Fifty-three year old woman who presented for general physical examination. The patient felt well and had no pulmonary symptoms. A CT scan was taken for screening and showed an AP Window node as well as two left upper lobe nodules. The patient returned home to the Southwest portion of the United States and underwent a PET scan which showed uptake in some of the nodules. She underwent thoracotomy with biopsy.
