Presented by Peter Illei, M.D. and prepared by Wang (Steve) Cheung, M.D., Ph.D.This is a 70 y.o. old gentlemen with a h/o Gleason 10 adenocarcinoma of the prostate s/p radiation therapy. His PSA levels have been low since completion of his RT therapy. He developed symptoms of urinary obstruction and a large bladder mass that completely obstructed and obliterated his left ureteral orifice and lead to renal failure of his left kidney necessitating nephrectomy. The infiltration of the left side became so severe that the majority of the volume of his bladder was filled with this apparent tumor. He was therefore counseled to undergo TURBT and TURP of some of the portion of the mass.images/10220761.jpgimages/10220762.jpgimages/10220763.jpgimages/10220764.jpgimages/10220765.jpgRecurrent prostatic adenocarcinomaBenign prostate tissue with treatment effectsNephrogenic adenomaUrothelial carcinoma in periurethral ducts Loading...
