The patient is a 55 year old woman with a history of multiple pulmonary nodules (bilaterally) for five to ten years. The patient has been essentially asymptomatic and has no history of smoking, previous malignancy or industrial/environmental exposure. One nodule grew larger and was removed by wedge resection.
