This is a 71-year-old gentleman with a small chest nodule, which has been followed on serial scans over a period of time. Recently, this showed evidence of enlargement (1.2 cm) and following a bronchoscopic biopsy showing a carcinoid tumor the patient underwent a left lower lobectomy and lymph node dissection.
